Encore was not the best album he ever did because he didn't write it. I know what your thinkin, "everybody in music has been accussed of using other people lyrics" and it's true the rumors get started ALOT but This is no rumor, It's a well known fact that he got the Encore album (yes, even the famous mockingbird that he seems to sing so lovingly to his little girl, was stolen) from a girl who, lets just say couldn't defend herself but did NOT want him to have what she wrote. The rumored part of the story is that he hit her in the head while in a courtroom and caused the girl to have a nervous breakdown outside the courthouse, you'd have a nervous breakdown too if Eminem (in all of his Hollywood glory) had just told you that he had someone sneeking in your home for months trying to steal lyrics, keep in mind this girl had kids in the house, was single and disfigured apparently had been in some kind of accident. So not only did he do his best to pick on someone weaker than himself that day but he physically assaulted a disfigured lady. So obviously the outcome was the Encore album it sold millions of copies and he made a ton of money. TEXT Is he happy now?? TEXT
But hey, I like his music, I got turned on to him when the Eminem Show came out. I had only heard one or two of the songs off of the previous albums, Someone told me I should grab the Eminem Show because there were a couple of songs on it that were written by the afore mentioned girl. I must have listened to that d**n album a million times and actually became an Eminem fan so when the Encore album came out I grabbed a copy and really enjoyed it for awhile, but recently I've found myself unable to listen to the Encore album - One reason, He did a special on Fuse where he was interviewed by a couple of the guys from D12. one of the questions they asked was "do you think there is a female version of Eminem?", his response was somethin to the effect of: probably and if there is she should come forward. When I heard those words I realized I could not be one of his devoted fans. He sat there and acted like he cared if there was a female "version of Eminem" and he does not. He, like everyone else that appears on your tv set, is completely fake and without a conscience apparently.
